Blue chip ambitions

Many owners and technical managers in our industry seek approvals from the ‘blue chips’, because, simply stated, they are good for business. As a proxy for market acceptability, a common question that many owners ask when looking for a new technical manager is ‘do you have “xx” approval in place?’.   

Stonefort Marine is delighted to be working with one such company looking to gain new business through improved standing with majors. With our prior vetting and OCIMF experience, we’ve identified some major areas for improvement. Equally though, much of our client’s operations could teach the ‘big players’ a thing or two, especially when it comes to efficiencies without compromising safety.
